About Us
Britto's at Baga Beach is an icon with a long history. In 1965, chef Dominic Britto started the restaurant with 5 tables and his son Cajetan Britto took over and made it into a 350-cover restaurant.
Today, it’s one of the oldest Goan restaurants that retains its soul and spirit through delicious food and an energetic atmosphere. What started as a simple eatery serving homemade food has grown into a multi-cuisine restaurant serving a packed house.
It has managed to hold on to its character and retains customers throughout. The food served here can be considered as authentic to Indian Culture as it has been prepared using traditional ingredients by local Goan chefs.
What makes it special?
The masalas for the Goan specialities at Britto’s are made by the matriarchs of the family – a tradition that has remained intact for over five decades. All ingredients are very fresh and sourced locally.
